Help!!! I Need Listings!!!!!

The last two listings I got,  sold three days. We are drastically in need of new listings. It is a great tine to sell your home. Both properties I sold were offered full price. Real Estate Market Prices are up!!

~~The home sales reached a seven year high in 2013, according to a recent report by the National Association of REALTORS (NAR). Existing-home sales, which include recently purchased single family, townhomes, condominiums, and co-ops rose 1 percent in December to a seasonally adjusted 4.87 million units for the year. There were 5.09 million existing homes sold throughout 2013, which is a 9 percent improvement over 2012.

NAR chief economist Lawrence Yun sees the national real estate market benefiting from an economic turnaround. "Existing-home sales have risen nearly 20 percent since 2011, with job growth, record low mortgage interest rates and a large pent-up demand driving the market," he said. "We lost some momentum toward the end of 2013 from disappointing job growth and limited inventory, but we ended with a year that was close to normal given the size of our population."

Nationally, the median time for homes to sell was 72 days in December, a decrease from 56 days for November, and on par with 73 day pace recorded in December 2012.


New Web Site has been challenging

New Moon, New Year Of the Horse and New Web Site

Hello All,

It is appropriate, that with the year of the Horse I should begin a new web site. I dislike changes but I have been told my old web site of 15 years is being discontinued. With the new IPhones and IPads we need to get stream line and high definition. And so a painful process begins. I have been working with my new web people and they have been diligently formalizing an equestrian site that will hopefully surpass my old one. There will be a lot of changes and fixes so please bear with me. I welcome all ideas and please let me know what you think. This is a site for you, so it should work that way. I know I still have a lot to do, but it is a process and will eventually turn out to be the best ranch property site available. Please fee; free to visit often.

Should I Buy a Home Now?

I'm often asked if this is a good time to buy a home. Some clients are concerned that home prices may fall down the road, while others are convinced that home prices will go up.

Home prices are one factor in determining your cost of ownership, but so are interest rates and financing availability. Even though interest rates have fluctuated, they are still near historic lows. Since your monthly mortgage payment is a combination of paying down your principal and paying the interest owed, a one point rise in interest rates could cost tens of thousands of dollars over the life of your mortgage!

While a home is a major investment, it is also the center of your personal life. It's important to live in a home that reflects your taste and values, yet is within your financial "comfort zone." To that end, it may be more important to lock in today's relatively low interest rates while they are still available.
